What areas do you cover?

We're based in Westbury, Wiltshire and regularly work across Bath, Frome, Trowbridge, Warminster, Bradford-on-Avon and the surrounding villages. For larger commissions we travel further — please ask.

Do you handle the whole project or just the carpentry?

Accepted Answer

Both. We can supply carpentry & joinery to other builders and designers, or we can project-manage your entire build from first sketch to final coat of paint — including all trades.

Are you insured and qualified?

Yes. We carry £5m public liability insurance, all trades are time-served, and our structural and listed building works comply with the relevant regulations.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends entirely on scope. A fitted wardrobe might be 3–4 weeks from order to install; a kitchen extension typically 12–16 weeks on site. We'll give you a realistic, written programme before any work begins.

Will I get a written quote?

Always. After our initial visit we provide a detailed written quotation broken down by trade, materials and labour — no surprises later.

Do you offer design help?

Yes. For bespoke joinery we produce drawings, samples and finish boards as part of the process. For extensions we can recommend trusted architects we regularly work with.

What timbers do you typically work with?

European oak is our most-loved material, but we work in walnut, ash, tulipwood, sapele, accoya and painted hardwoods. For each project we'll select and source the right material together with you.

Do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All structural and joinery work carries a written guarantee. Many of our installations from twenty years ago are still in perfect order — that's the real guarantee.

Can you work to a designer or architect's drawings?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We collaborate regularly with architects and interior designers, and we're meticulous about respecting their intent while flagging any practical concerns early.
